1. Purpose: To promote teaching innovation for teachers, enhance student learning support, and cultivate AI literacy among teachers and students. The program encourages teachers to integrate generative AI tools into their courses, innovate teaching design, methods and materials, encourages students to use generative AI tools for independent learning, thereby improving learning efficiency.
2. Eligibility:
- Teachers: Full-time and part-time teachers who incorporate generative AI tools into their courses for the 2025 Spring semester.
- Students (must be enrolled in the university):
- Graduate students who apply generative AI tools to their research topics.
- Self learning programs (with a specified G-AI application plan in the learning proposal).
- Participation in intra- or inter-university competitions (limited to one account per team).
- AI-related student clubs (limited to one account per club).
3. Subsidy Details: whatever type of generative AI, the subsidy amount is limited to USD$20/month/account.
4. Subsidy Period: The subsidy period is from the date of approval until July 31, 2025 (Thursday). Reimbursement receipts must be submitted to the Teaching Resources Center of the Academic Affairs Office by July 15, 2025 (Tuesday). Each reimbursement receipt must be submitted to the Teaching Resources Center within one month.
5. Number of Subsidies: The monthly subsidy is based on 50 people.
6. Application Process:
- Application Period: From the date of this announcement until January 3, 2025 (Friday) at 5:00 PM.

- Teachers: Applicants are required to fill out the Google form within the announcement period.
- Students: Applicants should fill out and sign the application form, then scan and email the electronic file to the Teaching Resources Center of the Academic Affairs Office:

7. Review Process and Key Points:
A. The Dean of Academic Affairs will serve as the convener, appointing G-AI experts and scholars from within the university to form a G-AI project team. This team will review subsidy approvals and related matters.
B. Key evaluation items:

- Teachers: Confirm teaching and learning objectives, specify the chosen generative AI tool, detail the teaching application plan for the generative AI tool, and outline the expected teaching outcomes.
- Students: Explain the generative AI tool of choice.
- Graduate Students: Explain the research motivation, purpose, research topic, research design, and expected outcomes.
- Independent Learning Program Students: Attach the independent learning program application form.
- Competition Teams: Attach the competition document or event promotional poster content.
- AI-Related Student Clubs: Describe the generative AI learning activity plan.
C. Review Schedule: January 6, 2025 (Monday) to January 17, 2025 (Friday).
D. Announcement of Review Results: January 22, 2025 (Wednesday).
8. Assessment: At the end of the semester, participants are required to take part in a teaching outcome sharing activity organized by the Teaching Resources Center of the Academic Affairs Office. Generative AI Tools Account Subsidy Process:
- Teachers: Submit the application form.
Students: Submit the application form.
- Reviewed by the G-AI project team.
- Upon approval, teachers/students apply for an account on the official website of the generative AI tool.
- Collect the account purchase receipt, the NT-dollar credit card statement, and the financial office expenditure certification form (signed by the handler) and submit them to the Teaching Resources Center within one month for reimbursement.
- After using the account, participate in the teaching outcome sharing activity organized by the Teaching Resources Center at the end of the semester.
- Close the case.
