A1: Opening for 1 time in a semester. Please refer to the TMU Calendar for the application date.
Q2: How to apply for the graduation defense(Degree Examination)?
A2: Please apply from the Academic & Student Affairs Information System.→"Graduation Defense"→Add a new application and submit. If there has a graduation requirement from your department/program, please upload the proof of finishing on "Requirement for Graduation" function in the same system. (Such as publishing SCI paper, symposium attendance, etc.) Please download the system operation manual from Graduation Defense (Degree Examination) Website .
Q3: What is the applicant's qualification?
A3: Master students study for 1 year, and Ph.D. program student study for 2 years. Students must complete graduation credits, graduation requirements, and the "Research Ethics" course from the department/program, then are eligible to apply for the degree examination (graduation defense).
Q4: Can candidates hold the graduation defense outside the TMU campus or through a video conference?
A4: Students must hold the graduation defense inside the TMU campus in person. The video conference is not accepted.
Q5: What is the percentage limitation of my originality report of plagiarism detection?
A5: The percentage limitation is required by the department/program, and thesis advisor. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the department/program office.
