  • Q1: How do I apply for a replacement of a lost, damaged, or renamed Student ID card? Can I change my photo?

A2: This service is restricted to currently enrolled students (students on leave of absence are not eligible for replacement; please apply upon returning to school).

Step 1: Deactivate the Old Card Online
Go to the Lost Student ID Login website, apply for the lost and submit: https://gene.tmu.edu.tw:8020/CardManage/default.aspx
Once the EasyCard Corporation receives the school's deactivation request, the card will be locked. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the cardholder by the EasyCard Corporation.

Step 2: Pay for the New Card
Pay the fee at an Automated Payment Machine and print the receipt. After three working days (excluding the day of application), you will receive an email notification via your student email account. You may then bring your receipt to the Registration Section to collect your new card.

    *Automated Payment Machine Locations:

    • Xinyi Campus: 1st Floor, Back Building, Medical Comprehensive Building.

    • Shuang-Ho Campus: 4th Floor, Teaching and Research Building (directly in front of the Joint Administrative Office).

Note: The card production process begins only after both Step 1 and Step 2 are completed.

  • Changing Your Photo
If you wish to change your photo, please email your new photo to the Registration Section at registration@tmu.edu.tw within 24 hours of submitting your replacement application.

    • Email Requirements for Photo Updates
Please use your official student email account. The email subject should be: 【Student ID Photo Replacement】. The email must include the following information and files:

      (1) Personal Information: Your Student ID number, Full Name, and Department/Institute.

      (2) Photo File: An electronic file of the new photo.

      • Format: JPG file.
      • Size: Under 1MB.
      • Requirement: A clear, color, front-facing, head-and-shoulders portrait without a hat. Do not provide half-body or lifestyle photos.
      • Photography Tips:
      • Eyes should look directly at the camera lens.
      • The photo should have appropriate brightness, contrast, and sharp focus.
      • It should be a close-up of the head and top of the shoulders, so that the face occupies 70% to 80% of the photo area.
      • A white background is highly recommended.

  • Q2: How is a student ID card handled during suspension of school?

A2: It is not necessary to return the card for suspension of school, but the digital functions of the student ID card, such as access to campus facilities and the library, will be deactivated. It can only be used again after back to school.

  • Q3: How is a student ID card handled when withdrawing from school?

A3: Students should hand it back to the Register Section or  report the card loss through the TMU card management system.

A3-1: School Homepage -> Students ->  Report Loss of Student ID Card. Upon receiving the school's request for card suspension, the transportation card company will lock the card, and any remaining balance on the card will be refunded to the cardholder.

A3-2: For students who withdraw and lose their student ID card, they still need to complete the card loss reporting procedure through the TMU card management system and sign a declaration. If any false or harmful situations arise, they are willing to take full legal responsibility, understanding that the student ID card is now invalid
