Q2：What qualifications should I have to apply for TMU?
A2：At the time of your application, if you meet the following requirements, you are qualified to apply.
- An individual of foreign nationality, who has never held the citizenship of the Republic of China (R.O.C.)
- An individual who does not possess an Overseas Chinese student status at the time of application.
- An individual who has resided overseas continuously for no less than 6 years; however if you apply for medical or dental studies, you must have resided overseas continuously for at least 8 years.
- An applicant of foreign nationality with a permanent residence status in Hong Kong or Macao, having no history of a household registration record in Taiwan and, at the time of application, who has resided in Hong Kong, Macao, or another foreign country continuously for no less than 6 years (8 years for those seeking training in medicine and dentistry)
- An applicant who was a former citizen of Mainland China and holds a foreign nationality, having no history of household registration record in Taiwan, and at the time of application, who has resided overseas continuously for no less than 6 years (8 years for those seeking training in medicine and dentistry)
※Related enrollment regulations must comply with the MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan from the Ministry of Education and TMU regulations for International Students Enrollment .
Q3：What is the maximum year of study in each degree programs?
A3：
Bachelor’s degree：
M.D. programs and D.D.S. programs, 6 years.
All other undergraduate programs, 4 years.
Master’s degree ： 1~4 years.
Doctoral degree ： 2~7 years.
