    Q2. How many years did TMU get grants for programs to promote teaching excellence?

    A: TMU has received project subsidies for nine consecutive years since 2006 amounting to more than NT600 million. The third phase of the second stage of TMU’s teaching excellence project’s overall objective is to foster global biomedical translation-oriented cross-border talent. Six policy plans promote social practice and humanities education to foster international biomedical personnel as well as Chinese and international mobile knowledge and skills for development studies with unity and workplace integration to create a self-learning and digital environment and sustainable teaching effectiveness and quality assurance, to nurture humane care, social services and the international outlook of dedicated medical professionals using educational philosophy to cultivate talent for national, social and health care industries.

    Q4. How can we get messages from North Second District Education Resource Center?

    A: TMU has been a member of this for five years, with National Taiwan University as convener, Tzu Chi University as the vice convener, and 11 collaborative partner schools (Taipei Medical University, Shih Hsin University, Hua Fan University, National Ilan University, National Dong Hwa University, Fo Guang University, Mackay Medical College, Datong University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of the Arts and National Taipei University of Education). We are jointly constructing an optimal teaching resource sharing platform to circulate resources, personnel and systems. We are also looking forward to nurturing more sophisticated teaching in our schools to create a region of sustainable campuses.
